As a bilingual Peruvian tutor, my approach blends technique, culture, and warmth. I’ve spoken Spanish as my native language since I was nine years old, and I have an upper-intermediate level of English, which allows me to teach both languages effectively. I follow a communicative method that encourages students to express themselves from the very first class. I bring in authentic Peruvian slang and real-life expressions to make learning both practical and culturally enriching. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, interests, and goals, and I use immersive techniques like role-playing, music, and everyday scenarios to make the experience dynamic. I also support learning with visual materials, hands-on exercises, and continuous feedback. A typical class begins with a short review and casual conversation, followed by the introduction of new grammar or vocabulary through practical examples. We then move into guided exercises, listening or reading practice, and finish with a recap and optional homework to reinforce what was learned. I teach with patience, humor, and a warm attitude, creating a space where students feel comfortable and motivated. My focus is mainly on adults who want to improve their Spanish or English, and I offer online lessons for convenience and flexibility.
