Sobre Roumina
I have over 5 years of experience teaching languages, including both English and Spanish, to students of different backgrounds—mainly adults and university students. I completed a Teacher Training Course (TTC) which gave me a solid foundation in modern, communicative language teaching methods. Since then, I’ve worked with students one-on-one, helping them reach their personal, academic, or professional language goals. My teaching style is highly communicative and interactive, with a strong focus on speaking and real-life use of the language. I believe that the best way to learn a language is by using it, so in my classes, the student speaks most of the time. I do not use traditional textbooks—instead, I create personalized materials such as custom texts, conversation prompts, vocabulary activities, and short YouTube videos that reflect how the language is really used. I aim to create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and learning at their own pace. My goal is to help each student not only improve their language skills but also gain the confidence to use the language in real situations.

Hi! I’m Roumina, and I’m here to help you speak Spanish with confidence. I learned Spanish as a second language and now I speak it fluently. I know what it feels like to start from zero, feel stuck, or hesitate when speaking — and I can help you overcome that. My own learning journey helps me explain things clearly and connect with students who want to improve. My classes are focused on speaking and real-life communication. I don’t use traditional textbooks — instead, I create all the materials myself: personalized conversation topics, short readings, vocabulary practice, and selected YouTube videos so you can hear how Spanish is really spoken. You will speak most of the time, not just listen. I’ve taught adults and university students who wanted to learn Spanish for work, travel, studies, or everyday life.
