Sobre Roberto Solone
I have worked for a long time in customer care from different positions. At Oracle I worked as an Engineer and a Knowledge Management Coach to implement a Knowledge-Centred Support. I have also influenced its Gender Equality and D&I strategies, negotiating the change towards a more inclusive workplace, where employees feel engaged to flourish their talent to its full potential.
Similarly, as an expert at gender perspective and in assessing gender impact, I have been leading intersectional dialogues in politics, business and education, deconstructing contrasting points of view to find common grounds.
I also deliver interdisciplinary academic and business trainings to international audiences, which made me an empathetic communicator, sensitive at contexts, expert at sharing with people from different cultures and environments.
Working as a journalist and a researcher I also became a sophisticated writer, a sharp observer and a confident interviewer with strong intuitive and analytical skills, genuinely involved in the objects of my studies, activism and work: social justice, gender equality and human capital management.
Being involved with several jobs, projects and activities since I started matching studies with work, I became a meticulous planner, an efficient resource administrator and a careful problem-solver, expert at auditing processes’ quality, identifying flaws, assessing impacts and implementing immediate and effective solutions. I am ITIL certified, with skills on Continual Service Improvement (CSI) and Business Process Management (BPM).
I am oriented toward negotiation, change management, education, communication, quality audit and talent engagement in diverse teams.

My mission is to create value for me and the others. At work, I easily identify challenges and transform them into opportunities. In my free time, I like to campaign for fair causes and raise awareness. Eventually, I achieved leading roles within the workplace and society.
A couple of years ago, I realized that I was dedicating more efforts to my activism than to my corporative career. Then, I made the decision to start a new professional career which was closer to my true vocation: helping people to achieve their goals by nurturing their potential. Languages are a fundamental skill in order to achieve most personal and professional goals.
Also, learning a language can be an eyes-opening journey through different cultures and ways of ordering feelings and thoughts: a life-changing experience.
Thus, in addition to my Italian degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures I got a CELTA, a CLIL and an ELE qualification. I have also got a British BSc (Honours) in Social Psychology.
Through the correct combination of teaching techniques, psychological assessment, and social abilities, my aim is to make sure that every learner can find this journey not just enjoyable, but exciting!
I would love to learn from the immense knowledge and experience that this profession has to offer, and I would surely contribute at the best of my possibilities, especially by offering what I can do better: to inspire learners and increase their motivation – and achievements.
