Using digital projector, PPT, CD/mp3 player, clear and playful boardwork, listening exercises, visuals, and realia. Adapting materials from English File and Clockwise course books and resources.
➔ Teaching grammar as well as vocabulary, and integrating phonemic script to support teaching pronunciation. Building in controlled practice techniques like prediction exercises, gap fill exercises, sentence completion, and also free practice techniques like board games, role plays, pair work Q&A, information gap, and jigsaws. Making use of various interaction patterns: pair and group work, mingle activities. Eliciting self and peer correction and using various kinds of error correction slots: end-of-class EC, sandwich EC, and recording the free practice to use for self and peer EC.
➔ Designing playful and colorful visuals from scratch which can be used in various ways. Composing reading exercises and designing interactive and dynamic live listening classes.
➔ One to one classes in order to analyze the students' backgrounds and linguistic assets and weaknesses. Designing and giving follow-up sessions personalized to their needs.
