Sobre Ruben
Despite my career is mainly in the science field, getting the Higher Certificate in Chemistry and spending 8 years working on that field, to rediscover myself as a something else than just a chemist, someone that likes to know about many other things and experience new fields, I had the chance to teach Spanish and English in two different continents, Africa and Asia, with two completely different cultures for almost3 3 years.
The beginnings are always a difficult and challenging task, but full motivated I never gave up, and I try to learn from every single mistake that I have made with my students.
I think most of my students felt that having a teacher with good intentions and energetic can be more interesting than something with lots of experience but not motivation at all.

After doing a test to know the level of English or Spanish, I choose the activities next to the book that I think is most convenient and accurate for the student. The classes are usually based on a written part, an oral part and a part where there is an activity such as a game or a song.
I'm very flexible and adaptable to every student goal or purpose, and sometimes the class can be mostly conversational, where I like the student talk around 60% of the time and I do 40%. That's very good for the student to take out any shyness and fears and feel more comfortable.
