Hello all! My name is Dani and I am a bilingual translator and interpreter with a soft spot for teaching. I have been a language and literature teacher for over ten years. I specialize in dynamic teaching, that is, my work methodology is based on the criteria that teacher and student are a team, so we must work together to achieve great results. In order to properly speak a language and communicate, the first thing a person needs is confidence, and that is a crucial element in my lessons. My students learn the language by working on what matters the most to them, be it getting ready for a big exam, a job interview, or maybe because they are about to embark on a big adventure elsewhere. Learning a language can be scary, because the language we speak determines how we think, so we must learn to think outside the proverbial box! We confront doubt and we learn by actively listening and engaging, and that is what my lessons are about: you are the main character and I will provide everything else!

As a teacher, I strongly believe the most important thing is for the student to gain confidence so that they can muscle through mistakes and come through to the other side stronger! I offer dynamic, customized and gradually more challenging lessons. Newcomers will be able to approach the learning of the language via what interests them, and those with a bit more experience will get to deepen their knowledge taking into account what their expectations are. *********** Our lessons will start with an impromptu conversation from which we'll be able to examine Grammar, Vocabulary and Cohesion, among other things. The idea is that I will guide you as a student, but you'll get to learn around what motivates you. Do not expect to just sit still and flip through a workbook, we will keep things interesting! ************ As a teacher with a background in translation and interpreting, I welcome those who are just starting as well as those who simply want to perfect their pronunciation or accent.
