My name is Martina De Donno, and I am from Italy.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques, and I have experience working with children as an Early Childhood Teacher, School Educator, Professional Educator, and Nanny.
Working with children/teens is my passion because I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and become more confident. I believe every child is unique, and I always try to create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where they feel valued and supported.
I consider myself a patient, empathetic, and responsible person. I enjoy working in a team, communicating with families, and planning creative activities that make learning enjoyable.
I am applying to your school because I would like to work in an international environment, continue developing my professional skills, and contribute to your educational community. I am enthusiastic about learning from experienced colleagues and sharing my own experience and dedication with the children.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, spending time outdoors, reading, and discovering new cultures. I believe these experiences help me become more open-minded and adaptable, which is very important when working in an international school.

I always adapt my lessons to the age, language level, and individual needs of my students.
First, I assess their starting level and identify their strengths, areas for improvement, and learning goals. Based on this, I plan lessons that are engaging, interactive, and appropriate for their abilities.
For younger children, I use songs, games, storytelling, role-play, pictures, and hands-on activities to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I focus on developing vocabulary, listening skills, and confidence in speaking through play-based learning.
For older students, I include reading, writing, conversations, grammar activities, and real-life situations to help them use Italian in a practical and natural way.
I also adapt my teaching methods for students with different learning styles or special educational needs by providing visual materials, differentiated activities, and additional support when necessary.
My main goal is to create a positive and inclusive classroom where every student feels motivated, supported, and confident in learning Italian.
