My name is Darcy Selena Louise, and I take my responsibility as your teacher very seriously. As a native British English teacher and former corporate consultant, I combine a calm, friendly atmosphere with a highly professional approach. I prepare every lesson carefully, arrive on time, and give clear, honest feedback so you always know what to improve. For many years I explained complex tax and compliance law to native‑English‑speaking CFOs, CEOs and COOs, so I understand how important it is to communicate clearly, accurately and respectfully. In class, I bring that same level of seriousness and care: you will speak a lot, receive precise corrections, and follow a structured plan adapted to your goals. My aim is for you to feel safe, respected and confident from the very first lesson.

I use conversation‑based, student‑centred lessons with clear goals, lots of speaking time and constant, gentle correction. I break complex ideas into simple steps, use real‑life materials (emails, meetings, interviews) and give focused feedback after each class so you know exactly what to review.
Example of a class program
A typical 1‑hour lesson:
1) Warm‑up and quick review of last class.
2) Target language: key phrases or grammar linked to your goal (e.g. meetings).
3) Guided practice: role‑plays, questions, mini‑tasks.
4) Freer speaking: discussion using new language.
5) Feedback and homework: corrections, vocabulary list and a short task.
I am a native British English teacher and former tax/compliance consultant.
