I am an American living in Peru in the beautiful town of Barranco. My specialty is helping people in business perform better in English. I love my work, especially when one of my clients gets a better job, a promotion or praise for their English.
I am from California where I received my training and certification as a teacher of English as a second language. In addition, I have a lot of experience as a manager in business. This combination makes me uniquely qualified to teach English for Business which I have been doing for the past 18 years.
How do I work? I listen carefully to you regarding your goals, assess your skills in English, and then prepare a learning plan for us to work together on.
It is important to invest in yourself and building your skills in English is a great asset for your career.

You are working in a business. My purpose is to help you perform your work better in English. After learning what your goals are, I will design a skill development program that we can work together on. I focus on improving listening and speaking in situations important in business. To benefit from our work together, you should be at the intermediate level at least.
I am a native speaker, a professionally trained teacher, certified by the State of California. In addition, I have extensive practical experience in business, having been the CEO of my own company.
For the past 18 years, I have been teaching managers in business and government in Peru. This includes 10 years as a Docente at la Universidad del Pacifico.
